How to count the days between two dates
Choose a start date, which is today unless you change it, and an end date. The calculator counts the calendar days between them and shows the same span in weeks, calendar months, and weekdays. Results update as soon as both dates are set.
1 January 2026 to 25 December 2026 is 358 days: 51 weeks and 1 day, or 11 months and 24 days.

About your results
How many days until a date?
Keep today as the start date and choose the date you’re waiting for. The result shows the days left, plus the same span in weeks, months, and weekdays.
Does the count include the end date?
Not by default. The start date counts and the end date doesn’t, so tomorrow is 1 day away. Turn on “Include the end date” to count both dates, which adds one day.
How are weekdays counted?
Weekdays are the days in the span that aren’t weekend days, usually Monday to Friday. Public holidays aren’t removed, so the result can differ from official working days.
Can I count the days since a past date?
Yes. Choose an end date in the past, or move the start date back. The calculator shows how many days lie between the two dates in either direction.
Do I need the app?
